Gifts for Her

Let's glam the girls up this Christmas - every girl loves to sparkle so one of Rubi Locke Jewellery's fabulous pieces would make any girl happy or Sue Lashmar's jewellery for something incredibly unique. You know the saying 'Diamonds are a girl's best friend' - it's actually 'handbags are a girl's best friend' & Fioriblu has gorgeous leather handbags, wallets & belts that will make a girl feel super chic. Or if the girl in mind loves to have beautiful things for their home then what about one of Jeannette Therrien's exquisite glass plates or a lovely handpainted teapot, bowl or mug from Kathryn Spreadbury Designs or a fabulous item from Sticks and Stones. If you're really stepping out some bespoke furniture from Balmain and Balmain could be just the ticket! And every girl loves to look good so some some natural, luxury beauty products from Dandelion Wellbeing or a voucher for a fitness class or treatment, or a nutritional cooking course from Love Food could set them on the right path for 2015.

Gifts for Him

Aren’t men so difficult to buy for - fed up of giving socks and boxers?  Why not pop down to Wagon Yard Artists in Marlborough to their Christmas Show Saturday 6th December & Saturday 13th December. Jacqui Melhuish will be there with her wonderful functional and decorative ceramics or check out Colin Palmer's watercolour prints or commission him to do a house portrait.  With 6 artists all of differing skills their studio really is a treasure trove of unexpected gifts so you're bound to find something different. A lovely present would be a gift voucher to learn something new at Marlborough College Summer School.  The Wagon Yard arists offer pottery and other art classes and The Shalbourne Collection always has an array of interesting courses. For the foodies a delicous bottle with personalised label from The Wiltshire Liqueur Company or some artisan produce or wine / hamper from Gastro Nicks could be perfect. Or if they love a meal out a voucher for Michelin Starred The Harrow at Little Bedwyn or The Red Lion East Chisenbury (recently voted 3rd best pub in the country) is bound to please. A new gardening toy is always a winner from Woodborough Garden Centre and if you love to browse in gift shops try Clementine’s Shop and the Christmas shop at The Merchant’s House, Marlborough for some inspiration. If beer is what they love then some local craft beer from Box Steam Brewery is bound to bring a smile to their face!
