After years working in some of London's leading digital agencies for global car brands, leading UK supermarkets & others, Sam Bertram decided to focus on helping smaller businesses with their marketing strategy from her home near Marlborough in Wiltshire.
Alongside this her passion for championing shopping locally led to her founding www.localuncovered.com in June 2014.
Sam continues to provide marketing consultancy to small and medium sized businesses to help them better market themselves.
Her broad digital experience spanning over 19 years means she can look at all stages of the purchase cycle. From acquisition of customers to conversion and retention. There's no point having a website that's beautiful but doesn't work so services include helping with the functional design of your website prior to applying the design.
'I'm particularly interested in social media and the opportunities it provides to businesses to acquire and retain customers more cost effectively'.
I grew up in Kenya and have always loved wide open spaces and endless skies. So, very quickly after moving out to Wiltshire, I felt that same sense of freedom. I love the rolling hills, the far reaching views and the fascinating history.

Website Consultancy - there's no point have a website that looks beautiful but doesn't work. We help with functional design, the step before graphic design. Wireframes that define how it needs to work.
Social Media Workshops - we regularly run Social Media Workshops helping small businesses understand the principles of social media, how best to implement them and some very practical actions to go away with.
Digital Marketing Strategy - we help businesses define their digital marketing strategy and how to implement it in an affordable way.
There's so much amazing history hidden in Wiltshire's valleys. Walk from Clatford to Devil's Den, the remains of a Neolithic chambered long barrow. There's rarely anyone else there and you often see deer in the surrounding fields.
Fantastic cycling spot for beginners. We love taking our children up there for a family bike ride. There are also great views across the downs.
There are beautiful views across the Pewsey Vale and beyond.
